FAQ

What is your PRICING policy?

We base our prices on a per window basis. All final quotes by default include interior and exterior cleaning unless requested otherwise by the customer. An average-sized window will usually cost anywhere between $6 and $8. Any windows that require setting of ladders or are difficult to access will be quoted slightly extra. Much larger windows can cost anywhere from $10 to $25 depending again on access, exposure and difficulty. French or divided panes will be based on an estimate of how long it will take to complete the set. All screens cost between $2 to $4 to clean.

While estimating a house, we inspect all windows for any hard water damage and excess buildup of minerals. Well-maintained and healthy windows are usually free of this, but some houses are more susceptible to this type of damage based on the quality of glass, certain environmental conditions and positioning of the house. A house with windows affected by this will likely be quoted more than one without due to more required time and effort spent cleaning the windows affected.

CAN you clean gutters?

Yes, we have plenty of experience clearing them out and have no problem doing them if needed. All kinds of debris can get lodged in gutters and can lead to annoying damage to houses, especially in Colorado where the weather can be more unpredictable.

How much will an estimate cost?

Absolutely nothing, the customer only pays after a job is complete and if they are fully satisfied with the service.

DO YOU HAVE YOUR OWN LADDERS?

Yes—a collapsible Gorilla pyramid ladder which can easily reach all ground level windows and all standard two story windows.

What differentiates you from other window cleaners?

As a musician and artist, I have always been afflicted by the need for perfection in my work. That translates into many other facets of my life. When it comes to windows, the smallest drop of water or streak in the corner doesn’t go unnoticed. Most other companies operate by cleaning as many houses as possible in the shortest amount of time, as they have many employees to pay and various operational costs to consider when running such a business. For an employee of a company like that, it’s easy to just go through the motions and forget what it truly means to clean a window. But as the owner of my business, I have a responsibility to myself to do the best job possible. I can’t risk having unsatisfied customers as my business relies on returning customers and them referring my services to others.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU COME BACK TO BOULDER TO CLEAN WINDOWS?

I usually return for a few weeks at a time during spring and two or three more trips throughout summer until it starts to get too cold again around October.
